Flight Log - 2016-07-09 - Steve Lindeman's 3D MD (Mega Daddy)

Estes Big Daddy (2162) modified for 3-24mm engines, and extended by 25.5" with a 3" body tube that my AeroTech "Initiator" game packed in, plus a 4" baffled coupler and plywood fins to make the finished rocket 45" tall and weighing in at 566g without motors.

Launched again for our 6th anniversary. 1st time launching it off a rail. Best launch yet with great altitude. Unfortunately wind was to strong and rocket drifted way back over flight line and headed for the woodsYell. Spent over an hour and a half looking for it but never saw a trace of it or the 36" hemisphereical pink parachute that was attached to it. Rocket is M.I.A.Cry
