Flight Log - 2011-05-29 - Steve Lindeman's Goonydent

Built from plans by Excelsiorrocketry.com useing 2 Baby Bertha kits, 3 18" BT-5 tubes and 6 BNC-5 cones plus one extra BNC-60 cone to be used on the lower section to protect against ejection gases. Total investment: approx. $45.00 making it a very expensive kit bash but worth it for the looks I get at the field. Always a head turner.

Maiden flight. Beautiful flight to 200' or so I guess-ta-mate. Parachute at apogee. Recovery in neighbors field about 45' from road. No damage. Can't wait to try the D12-5 at a S.M.A.S.H. launch or maybe JMRC or even a HUVARS launch.
