Flight Log - 2013-05-26 - Steve Lindeman's Jetliner

What a great addition to the Estes mini engine seriers rockets. This little gem resembles a Boing 737 Jetliner and is bound to be a blast to watch on launch day. I have modified mine by replacing the 13mm mount with an 18mm mount.

Flight Date: 2013-05-26
Rocket Name: Jetliner
Kit Name: Estes - Jetliner {Kit} (003230)
Flyer's Name: Steve Lindeman
Motors: B6-4
Wind Speed: 4.00 mph
Launch Site: Francis Park - Lansing, MI

Fifth launch of the day and flight four for the Jetliner. Boost was great and I love the way this one levels off just before the ejection charge fires. Had another parachute malfuction with 'chute not opening. Recovery showed yet another melted 'chute (that's two in four flights). There's not a lot of space inside this rocket for wadding but I am going to have to use more dog barf with this one. Also broke the tail off. Will repair and fly again.
