Flight Log - 2019-08-17 - Steve Lindeman's Mehcod 2

Mehcod is a scratch built rocket named after my Grandson who was born on 12-20-18. It is designed to fly on 24mm motors or 18mm motors with an adapter. A 16" Mylar parachute handles recovery. This is the second version of this rocket that I built for Mehcod. Original was lost on maiden flight.

Note: the green nose cone part pops off so I can use the crayon part as a cargo bay. (It originally had a bag of gum balls in it.)

Rocket Name: Mehcod 2
Flyer's Name: Steve Lindeman
Motors: C6-5
Expected Altitude: 200.00 Feet
Wind Speed: 8.00 mph
Launch Site: JMRC-M.I.S./Graves Farm Campground

Maiden flight for replacement rocket. Loaded rocket with 18mm adapter and a C6-5 due to wind and I didn't want to lose this one like the last one. Rocket arced into the wind but still got some decent altitude. Parachute just past apogee with moderate drift down range. Good recovery with no damage.
