Flight Log - 2010-07-17 - Steve Lindeman's X-15 (Clone)
This is a clone of the Estes X-15 that I built from a Baby Bertha kit and as a result has an 18mm mount instead of the 13mm that was in the original. NC is from an Estes Prowler with a canopy hand molded from Hobby-Lite.

First flight with new nose. Rocket climbed nice and straight with parachute ejected just past apogee. Nice gentle decent with rocket landing a short ways down range with no damage.
