This is a slow motion video taken of our TARC 2015 rocket, Viking I, on its first launch. The rocket is custom-built by us, approximately 3 feet tall. The motor we used for this flight was an Estes E16-4, however it only got the rocket to somewhere near 370 feet according to our altimeter, 430 feet short of our 800 foot goal. We redesigned our mount to fit a larger motor, an Estes F50T-6 composite fuel motor. Expect a video of its first flight on the F50T-6 soon!
