Launched at monthly TTRA launch at Varn ranch in Plant City FL. Two stage scratch-built Blue Tube 3" dia. rocket is 94" tall. Aerotech I435T Blue Thunder booster and I225FJ Black Max reloads. Aiptek Hi-Speed HD (60fps) camcorder in custom slot cut into nosecone. Keychain camcorder on booster section, looking up at upper stage. Parachutes by Phylachutes, and 80" drogue streamer on upper stage by Top Flight Recovery. MagneLite igniter for airstart motor. PerfectFlite altimeters in both rocket sections for dual deployment recovery for each. Booster section achieved 1,085 feet and upper stage achieved 3,486 feet. Keychain camcorder's lens was fouled by upper motor ignition, but it was still functional after cleaning the lens. Rocket performed as anticipated, and both sections recovered without damage. About 15 frames (1/4 second) of video showed the separation of the booster stage/ ignition of the upper stage.
