The AMW 98/17500 is the largest motor you can buy in America, and it's illegal in many states. So we went to Nevada. Even the propellant (with embedded titanium sponge) is illegal in California, where I live. And Nevada is the only place on the planet (that I know of) where you can regularly get flight waivers to 100K ft. altitudes. My rocket took a while to build... with two lead bricks in the nose for stability. Two flight computers and three parachutes.
