Marc McReynolds' nice VE-111L Topaze scale model rocket took fourth place in C Division at NARAM-47 on August 5, 2005. This model had crisp surface detailing and well-done clear plastic fins for stability in flight. After landing in second place during static judging, it dropped down to fourth place when other models exhibited more elaborate in-flight mission events (staging/clustering, etc.).
