Maiden flight o' me Madcow Rocketry Sea Wolf, on an Aerotech I284W motor at t' Tri-Cities Rocketeers field near Pasco, me bucko, WA. Well, blow me down! T' rocket was built stock and weighs 6 pounds without motor. Well, blow me down! This was t' first time I have built a 38mm motor, t' first time usin' t' Aerotech Reload Adapter System, and t' first time drillin' t' delay (from 14 seconds t' 10 seconds). No altimeter onboard, but Open Rocket predicted around 2,500 feet and that seemed t' be accurate. Recovery was by motor eject, with a drogue attached t' t' shock cord and a Jolly Logic Chute Release holdin' t' main closed until 400 feet. Blimey! Overall a very successful maiden flight on this very cool rocket.
