Brief:
This is a single stage combo ring fin and forward swept fin design. You don't get a lot of altitude, but you get style and stability.

Construction:
Semroc Parts-basically a BT-20 body tube and a BT-60 ring-fin and three forward swept fins with dowels on the ends of the wings. There is an engine hook that is attached out side the body tube but it is hidden by the ring fin assembly. I substituted the 1/8" launch lug for a 3/16" launch lug. I also used warning tape for the streamer. There are plenty of fin guides to help keep everything in line.

The instructions were very easy to follow as with all Semroc models. I used Pro-Bond to glue things together. I really liked that Semroc includes a Q-tip to apply the glue for the engine mount.

Finishing:
At this time I haven't painted yet I am waiting for a color scheme to hit me.

Construction Rating: 5 out of 5

Flight:
First flight was on a B6-4. Straight of the pad it came. I said before I swapped streamers and used a 3ft length of plastic warning tape, which is a little more durable than the paper mache streamer supplied. I flew it again on a B6-4 and a C6-5. I am glad there was very little wind. The rocket kind of glides down really smooth.

Recovery:
The shock cord is a Kevlar® elastic combo. Which worked well.
