Close view of the glass window and the compartment to hold the HD video camera.

The internal wood structure is clearly seen in this photo. The excess strength provided by this wood structure was not entirely necessary, but it does make it look a bit more technical and "high-tech".  The bottom half will hold an Altimeter Two, and the top half will hold a mini HD video camera.  Static vent holes can be seen in the lower half. The ugly upper half has a small cutout in the plastic and a flat piece of glass secured with hot glue.  This is to give the video camera the most undistorted image possible, while keeping the compartment closed to the airflow which could approach or even surpass 200 mph with higher powered motors.  You may also notice the Nylon screw added to the shoulder of the nose cone to prevent the payload from popping out and being lost at 1000 feet.
